Great Choice

CONE BEAM 3D IMAGING
Dental cone beam imaging is among the fastest growing dental technologies. Also called cone beam 3D imaging or cone beam computer tomography (CBCT), these imaging systems are capable of creating detailed 3D digital models of a patient’s anatomy. Cone beam imaging is becoming a standard of care for dental implant treatment planning, and the 3D imaging technology also is useful for orthodontics, endodontics and a range of other clinical imaging needs.

FULL MOUTH DIGITAL DENTAL RADIOGRAPH
A Digital x-rays, which replace the film with an electronic sensor, address some of these issues, and are becoming widely used in dentistry as the technology evolves. They require less radiation and are processed much more quickly than conventional radiographic films, often instantly viewable on a computer. A full mouth series is a complete set of intraoral X-rays taken of a patients’ teeth and adjacent hard tissue. This is often abbreviated as either FMS or FMX (or CMRS, meaning Complete Mouth Radiographic Series). The full mouth series is composed of 18 films, taken the same day: 4 Bite Wings, 8 posterior periapicals, six anterior periapicals.
